Our Mission
Educate the general public on the benefits of music therapy.
Work with other artists and organizations to raise money to provide musical instruments and professional music therapists to help at risk teens and help special needs children and young adults.
Communicate the message of love, hope, faith and acceptance.
Our partners are other professional organizations, healthcare providers, schools and nonprofits that help the development of special needs children and young adults and that prevent teen suicides through education and by providing a crises hotlines and or other counseling services.
From our inception in 2015 we have created a reputation of being willing to help those organizations that have limited financial resources. Each year Music Is Therapy helps hundreds of children by providing music therapy from certified music therapist. 100% of all donations are used to provide the instruments and music therapy.
Our program is to seeks out schools, hospitals and specialized organizations that work with special needs children and young adults that believe and understand the positive impact that music therapy can have in these children’s lives. We work with only licensed music therapist and have them work a minimum of once a week with the children. We also help sponsor events such as rock concerts where once a year the children get to perform songs that they pick out and have practiced all year.
